Polygon Synergy Ventures Sdn. Bhd. is looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled Instrument Designer (Mechanical) to join our growing engineering team. If you have a passion for CAD design, 3D modelling and engineering projects, we’d like to hear from you.
 
Position Details

Key Responsibilities
 
✔️ Develop and revise 2D engineering drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
✔️ Prepare equipment layouts, fabrication drawings, BOMs and technical documentation.
✔️ Support instrumentation and mechanical design for engineering and automation projects.
✔️ Work closely with engineers, project teams and vendors to deliver practical design solutions.
✔️ Support prototype development, assembly, testing and site activities when required.
✔️ Maintain accurate drawing revisions and engineering records.
 
Requirements
 
✔️ Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or related field.
✔️ Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in CAD drafting, mechanical or engineering design.
✔️ Fresh graduates with strong CAD skills are encouraged to apply.
✔️ Proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD (2D).
✔️ Able to interpret engineering drawings, dimensions and technical specifications.
✔️ Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
✔️ Willing to support project and site activities when required.

Position: Technical Sales Executive
Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: RM2,500 – RM7,000 (Basic + Commission + Performance Incentive)
 
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and customer-oriented Technical Sales Executive to drive business growth by promoting our engineering, laboratory, and industrial solutions. The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, excellent communication and PR skills, and the ability to build long-term client relationships while achieving sales targets.
 
Key Responsibilities
✔ Develop new business opportunities and expand existing customer accounts.
✔ Build and maintain strong customer relationships through excellent PR and regular client engagement.
✔ Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.
✔ Prepare quotations, technical proposals, tenders, and commercial documentation.
✔ Conduct product presentations, technical discussions, and client meetings.
✔ Coordinate with Operations, and Project teams to deliver customer solutions.
✔ Follow up on quotations, negotiations, purchase orders, and project progress.
✔ Achieve monthly and annual sales targets and maintain an active sales pipeline.
✔ Monitor market trends, competitors, and new business opportunities.
✔ Prepare sales forecasts, customer visit reports, and pipeline updates.
✔ Represent the company at exhibitions, seminars, and networking events.
✔ Ensure high customer satisfaction through effective pre-sales and after-sales support.
 
Requirements
✔ Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in:
– any fields OR
– Engineering disciplines
✔ Excellent public relations (PR), interpersonal, and networking skills.
✔ Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
✔ Good understanding of engineering products, laboratory services, industrial equipment, or technical solutions.
✔ Able to prepare technical proposals and commercial quotations.
✔ Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
✔ Good planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
✔ Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
✔ Possess a valid driving licence and own transportation.
✔ Willing to travel within Malaysia for client meetings and business development.

📍Internship Intake Periods:

  • Quarter 1: January – March
  • Quarter 3: July – September

Working Hours:
Monday–Friday, 8.00 AM – 5.00 PM (1-hour lunch break)

Job Description:
Polygon Synergy Ventures (PSV) offers internship opportunities for students seeking hands-on experience in geological sample operations. This role provides structured training and guidance in sample handling, digital documentation, and data management within a professional laboratory environment.

Interns will gain exposure to real industrial workflows, technical procedures, and digital reporting systems used in the oil & gas sector.

Key Responsibilities:
✅Receive, sort, and label geological samples (core, cuttings, mud)
✅Perform data entry and maintain records in Excel and internal systems
✅Support packing, layout setup, and sampling
✅Assist in preservation tasks (resin coating, vacuum sealing, plugging)
✅Capture and edit core photographs
✅Participate in sample projects (reboxing, thin sections, relabelling)

Requirements (Field of study):
✅Geoscience,
✅Petroleum Engineering,
✅Earth Sciences or related.
✅Good attention to detail, responsible, team-oriented

📍High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data formatting, formulas, pivot tables, and charting)
